shoe-in

Today’s interview reminded me of the one I had when I landed a job in Korea. That one started out, “So, what city would you like to work in?”

Just a few minutes ago, the conversation began with, “let me tell you more about the class you’ll be teaching.” Here I was expecting to be grilled about my philosophy of teaching and prepared to demonstrate my competence in the field.

Now I’ll have a regular Saturday morning gig.
